Getting healthy in 2011

I am a married mother of two sweet kids, age 4 and 2. It is time to lose the excess baggage from my last pregnancy. I recently trained and completed my 1st half marathon- the Kansas City Half. I finished under my goal time- 2:28:56.

I work as an RN in a local ICU. I need to focus now on losing at least 25 pounds and lowering my cholesterol. I plan on starting training for another half in the spring, so now is time to get serious!

I am primarily training for half marathon/triathlons but I incorp TurboFire and TurboJam when I have extra time.

wow, 8 pounds!?! That's great. I lost 2 but admit that I didn't follow it to a T. I'll be trying the Beachbody 2-Day cleanse within a couple weeks.

Pump is going awesome! I just finished up Day 12! This is the first dvd program in a long time that I don't want to skip workouts! I feel so powerful when I am finished! I hated that I missed 2 days this weekend, but listening to my body seemed wiser! I saw your pic of your mud run, considering doing my first one this summer. Any pointers?

Thanks for the comment on my blog! Yes, I'm taking fertility medications to make me ovulate since my cycles are basically non-existent. Trying a different medication now since the last one didn't work. All in good time, right?!
