Thank you so much for what you said on my feed. I understand where you're coming from cause I get opposition from my husband sometimes too. He didn't know me when I was morbidly obese but he's had to make some adjustments to me losing about 30 lbs. I think he'll get used to it with time. He's usually pretty understanding about everything.
Hey it's Nichole from the youfit page....I had made a comment over there and deleted it since I already know they are sick of me. Manager called me last week about someones post I agreed with and today I told her I want to cancel my membership. Just spent an hour reviewing their whole contract and a few things contradict what I was told at sign up along with the fact I don't ever recall signing anything for the contract, yet the email we got when they opened said to bring the copy in on your first visit. I've had nothing but problems since Day one there. Going to make sure my legal rights are covered, the owner of Youfit is the ex co-owner of Planet Fitness, google is genus :-p I went to two clubs today to take tours and find out costs and Planet Fitness is the same cost but also has hydro bed massagers, chair massagers, red light body toner, and tanning. They area also running a special to buy out contracts from Youfit, so the $100 cancel fee I would have, I pay youtfit and Planet Fitness gives me 5 months membership no charge to cover that loss I take on the other end. I told her I would return on Monday to tell her if I wanted to cancel or she offered me November free. Just pay annual fee which LEGALLY they can't charge on 11/1 per the contract stating it will be at least 90 days from opening before they charge, as well they told me at sign up it would be January and then start in September next year. I was told a lot of BS to sign up apparently and at least I have their black and white writing. I apparently just don't fit in, and what the manager said to me today about maybe it's not a club for me and I seem to have a "fiesty" personality really rubbed me the wrong way. I am quiet, I want to put my head phones on and be left alone, but apparently I can not have that happen either lol. The gym is my stress free zone and they just kept making it a place I did not want to go. I was 30 minutes into my 90 min workout when I got off after an employee approached me and I was just done.
I will GLADLY take the stretch marks over all of that loose skin!! It was one of the best decisions I ever made! Recovery is not fun... I'm just going to be honest with you there. It wasn't only excess skin removal... it was a full abdominoplasty which means he went up in there and tightened and toned my abdominal muscles also. I also got my boobs fixed but because it was so much skin I couldn't go under the muscle with the implants so they're over the muscle. That wasn't as painful at all. But the abdominoplasy recovery totally sucked. It was so excruciating. But I promise you... it is 100% completely worth it!! I was off for about a month. 6 weeks is ideal though. That's only if you need as much work as I needed. You might have a much different experience than I did. I couldn't breath or cough or even clear my throat without screaming in agony. But that flab and flesh had to go. It was totally worth it!
