Looking for me in all the wrong places.

Ok first I'm going to be honest. I've been here before. I've lost 50lbs with this program and have kept it off but could not keep going. I decided the only way to keep from constantly thinking of how I failed myself by not keeping up with the program was to start fresh. To start over. So here I am starting again really ready for a life changing experience.

Basically I want the image of myself in my head to match the outside. I think I'm quite the hotty until I catch myself in the mirror.

My Program:
Mostly this is a mental game for me so everyday I'm going to remind myself why I'm doing this and how much I really want it.

That is awesome you like running- especially if your pups are goin with you cuz that is your motivation right there! If you start goin then your dogs will start looking forward to it too and you don't want to disappoint them, right? ;) I really need to be walking my dogs more often & wish I could get into running, but I was never any good at it- I don't breathe right or something and I always get side cramps, etc. But that Couch to 5K is something even I might get interested in since I have heard good things about it being good for beginners :) I have the Spark book (the older one) and the Cookbook too. I LOVE the Cookbook- seems nearly every recipe I have tried I have liked- I really need to pull it out more and pick some new recipes! Plmk if you find any you really like & I will do the same! The stress eating I don't have any concrete answers for yet- I'm just working on being more mindful when I notice I am overeating (or wanting to/cravings etc) and trying to figure out why. Then finding someone to vent to always helps (as long as that person doesn't want to go out for food while I vent- have a few of those in my life lol). Hey- Stress eating is my #1 issue too! Still trying to figure that one out! Yea... exercise :/ that is a tough one for everyone I think. I think it is really important to pick something you can have fun doing. Otherwise, there is no way I would do it on a regular basis and it is super hard to make a routine of it if you hate it. For me, I LOVE to dance and I have a lot of fun doing it- so there is more motivation & it is easier to get into a routine of doing it. I have something scheduled in my calender EVERY DAY. I KNOW that I am not going to do something every day, but just having that scheduled there helps. It used to be I had a dance/exercise class scheduled a couple days a week- but then if something came up or I couldn't make it on those days- my exercise for the week would be '0'. Since I now have something scheduled every day, this way, if I miss my favorite class, there are other things I can do to make up for it. No excuses! My motivation has waned lately too, but I think having so many options helps. What do you like to do for exercise?

Hey KSITAR! Thanks so much for the friend add- I added you back! I saw you status about wanting a buddy and I'm in the same place and would LOVE to have you as a Sparkbuddy :). I really think it would help to have someone to check in with, so let me know if you are interested! I'm also going to try to be more active in the teams, etc. I have a tendency to log-in, track my stuff, read a little and leave- so need to fix that- I'm missing the best part of SP- the social part!! I see we have a bunch in common. I've lost a bunch of weight on here, then hit a plateau and lost my mojo (for a looooong time) so I need to start over too. I too, want the image in my head to match how I really look. It takes seeing a picture or a full-size mirror to remember how I really look- then I think- OMG WTH I thought I lost weight? LOL. I just don't see the difference any more :/ Some more in common- My dogs are like my kids too, I have an amazing fiancÚ who loves me at any size too (which is nice, but then also hard because he still offers me food and treats, etc which isn't always helpful). Well anyways, nice to meet you!! Looking forward to chatting more :) emoticon
