2010/02/05- the first week of hard work is done, heres to the next!

2009/12/26- I am ready to start the challenge again. i'm determined to be vibrant healthier and leaner and look beautiful and glowing at my cousins wedding in june, I am ready to bear down :) screw new years resolutions, im starting my healthy living now.

2009/07/15-I have now lost 40 pounds with the help of sparkpeople, NEVER EVER GIVE UP:)

2009/04/01-and it worked, 6 months of working on myself has definetly improved all aspects of my life, not just how i look. i feel amazing, and have accomplished so much in the last six months, and met a great guy who helps me everyday feel important and confident, who i never would of met feeling how i did before, YOU CAN DO IT, no matter how far gone you feel, have faith and confidence in yourself and eventually it pays off. i had lost hope and didnt even realize how far down I had fallen, but with one change at a time, I officially am LOVING LIFE! everyday is still a challenge and it is far from perfect, but i see the light at the end of the tunnel and im strong enough now to keep moving towards it:)

Im reached the halfway point in my goal!! 30 pound lost and still truckin'!

2008/10/01-im here because frankly im tired of feeling like crap, and being tired everyday, and im tired of not feeling hot in my clothes that used to make me feel like a million bucks! I used to be in really good shape athletically in high school and my first year in college on a soccer scholarship, then i moved back to edmonton, and gained the sophomore 40! Im ready to get back in shape, I enjoy working out and running so why wasnt I doin it?? Im not sure! Ive gotten myself into a rut, and a recent very tough break up with my bf of almost three years gave me the little push and motivation i needed to get my life back on track. I need a little "me" time to get myself back:)

My Goals:
*first goal weight is 140 pounds (almost there!!)
*stick to my healthy eating habits and reduced calorie diet
*feel healthier!
*get back in shape
*get as much sleep as I can
*feel sexy and confident!!

My Program:
Excercising 5 days per week. soccer 2 times per week, and cardio (running, ellptical) at least 3 times per week. walk my puppy everyday if i have the time!

Drink a ton of water everday all day.

Maintain 1200-1400 calories per day.

Incorporate healthy real foods into every meal, every day.


Personal Information:
I am a 21 year old from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I spent a year in Oklahoma on a soccer scholarship, and then went back home to Grant Macewan College for two years. Right now I work for the government in the bail hearing office! I love my dog and I ride horses as well.
