Hi Everyone! I have not been active on this site for quite a few months now. I had alot of life changes going on and just didn't have time anymore. I moved, started a new job, and went through a tough break up pretty much all at once.

So here I am to hopefully reconnect with some old friends and make some new ones with similair health and fitness goals as me.

Hi Everyone! I have not been active on this site for quite a few months now. I had alot of life changes going on and just didn't have time anymore. I moved, started a new job, and went through a tough break up pretty much all at once.

So here I am to hopefully reconnect with some old friends and make some new ones with similair health and fitness goals as me.

I used to be obsessed with the number on the scale and being 'skinny.' I am now more interested in overall health and most importantly for me, a healthy and normal body image. I have struggled my whole life with body image and have been working hard on to finally love and accept my body. I still have a very long way to go!

I have recently joined Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training and will be running my very first marathon in Walt Disney World January 10, 2010. I never thought I would run a marathon because of knee issues I have had in the past while training for races. But so far, I am injury free! I have been training hard and fundraising since August and am very excited for the race!

My Goals:
Run my first half marathon Nov. 22, 2009.
Run my first full marathon January 10, 2010.
Have a good and healthy body image.

My Program:
Currently running 3 times a week, 2 short runs (4-6 miles) and one long run.

I will be adding strenth training and Pilates back into the mix asap!

Personal Information:
I am from the Philadelphia area. I went to PSU and graduted May 2007 and miss it alot! I love dark chocolate, red wine and asian food...they are my weaknesses. But I also enjoy giving my favorite unhealthy dishes 'healthy makeovers'!

Hi Kelly... I noticed that you were running with TNT for your first marathon and had to stop by and say hello! I'm doing the full PF Chang Rock'N'Roll marathon this January with TNT and so far it has been a wonderful and challenging experience! BTW...love your purple page. :)
