hmmm, i have never heard of that book, is it YA ? or adult ? sounds like you like it. it sounds much better than the book I attempted to read for the sparkbook club, i finally returned it to the library, it was clearly not my type of book, i rarely get a book & don't finish it, but my this time i just decided my time is too precious to waste on a book i really don't like that someone else picked. pee-u, the book stunk, what little i read anyway.
let me know if you really like jonathan strange & mr norell book & i will check it out. we seem to have a similar taste in books. Take Care , Kim

Cool, can't wait for the movie,
I know what you mean about the adult books being lame, that is why i switched to YA, better plots, better writing styles. Let me know if you read anything good. Thanks Kim

I see you finished the Amber Spyglass, I really liked the book, it took me longer than usual to finish it as well, I found that I liked the series much better than the adult authors out there, if you liked Pullman I think you would like Scott Westerfeld & Jonathan Stroud too, They are both YA authors.

I also thought that the ending was sad. I cried when i found out they had to live in seperate worlds. Maybe Pullman will write another book someday.
See ya Kim
