    Thanks for visiting my Slog (not a typo, I've been calling sparkpeople blogs slogs. :P)

    You should read 'The End of Diabetes' by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. It's how to stop and get rid of diabetes 2 (when not on insulin) and how to lower your insulin if you are insulin dependent. I don't have diabetes but my friend has type 2 and my brother has type 1. He has had it since he was 8. I really liked the book and have recommended it to them. I was able to find it at my library.

    Have a wonderful and healthy week!

    emoticon for the add! I did the same. I too am trying to get back to my prepregnancy weight for baby 2 as well. I was 144 when I got pregnant with LO. I'm taking it one day and one pound at a time as well. emoticon

    Find your magic carb number and don't go over for level glucose levels.

    I sometimes have trouble meeting my carb/cal/protein range. It's gotten better. I always try to meet my carb and calorie ranges so I won't have anymore bad hypoglycemic episodes. Low carbing for diabetics is scary. Please rethink it. {{{Hugs}}}
