My name is Kristel and I am 39 years old, living in sunny Orange County, California. I have successfully lost weight (several times) in the past. But I was always looking for an easy way to lose weight, diet pills, a "diet" that didn't require exercise, etc. So it's not too surprising that I always gained the weight back, plus a few more. I'm ready to break the cycle.

After successfully losing weight in 2007, I was pregnant most of the year in 2008. I used my pregnancy as an excuse to get comfort from food -- back to all of my old habits. Well, not surprisingly, I gained more than 60 pounds. Keira was born on November 3, 2008 but -surprise, surprise - much of the weight was still here in 2012.

In 2012, I was once again pregnant. While I did not gain nearly as much weight during my second pregnancy, I hadn't even come close to losing all of the weight from the first. So I am re-starting this journey at a nearly lifetime high weight.

This year, I've recommitted myself to get back on program. I want to get *at least* to my pre-baby weight -- as in the weight I was 5 years ago, before the FIRST pregnancy. My husband is also committed to good health and we both want to set a good example for our children. And I have a great group of friends that is here to support me every step of the way.

My Goals:
Losing all of the baby weight and more. I would love to get down to a size 6 or at least back to an 8/10 like I was pre-baby #1.


My Program:
Eating clean, watching my portion sizes. As a nursing mother of an exclusively breastfed infant, I will need to add around 500 calories to the range given to me by SP, since I'd rather not use Babyfit.com.

My exercise plan is still a work in progress.
