Hello, my name is Krista! I'm a twenty-something (25) with a lot of somethings on her waist, thights, and bottom. I started this program in hopes that it would help me fit into my size 4 and 6 jeans. But now I'm using it as a tool to help me live healthier, not just for the moment, but for life.

I started Sparkpeople to lose weight and to start a healthier lifestyle. I've been through heavy binging and extreme restricting, and now I just want to make the right choices for my body while still enjoying the occasional cookie. Ha.

I'm a constant snacker which is supposedly a good thing, but I snack on all the wrong things. My weakness is chocolate. Give me chocolate and I'll be your best friend forever.

If you're in need of a diet buddy, I'm your gal. I plan to be very dedicated to this program, so you'll get a lot of support from me as well.

The best diet advice I've even gotten was to accept yourself as you are at the moment, and not at your goal weight. I know there is room for improvement, and I have weight I would like to shed; but I am learning to accept myself as I am at the current moment.

My Program:
I'm following the clean eating principles by Tosca Reno's book 'The Eat Clean Diet':
-5 small meals a day
-protein at each meal
-8+ cups of water everyday
-2 cups tea a day/one of them green tea
-eat mindfully, chew slowly

Personal Information:
I'm from San Diego. I love meeting new people, baking, going to the beach, good conversation, and being silly.

Hello , lady! Glad you're back.
I am currently doing a 21 day challenge . I am not eating grains, at all. So it's lots of veggies, meat, fish, some dairy, nuts, and seeds. I am still having some wine and beer, but straying away from chocolate.
I finished Body Revolution, now I do a yoga/dance workout called Buti , twice a week. Look it up inline, it's an online class, real fun! I make sure I lift some weights twice a week. And I started taking a kick butt class in town, it's hardcore !
So I am working out hard 5-6 days a week.
You can do it!

I am re-Starting Michael Thurmond's 6-week body makeover tomorrow. I lost down to 124.5 on it two years ago and kept it off until this summer. I should have learned better how to maintain. This time will be different. I am ready to make it happen! How about you? What are you doing? How are you maintaining your losses? emoticon
