Hello, my name is Krista! I'm a twenty-something (26) with a lot of somethings on her waist, thights, and bottom. I started this program in hopes that it would help me fit into my size 4 and 6 jeans. But now I'm using it as a tool to help me live healthier, not just for the moment, but for life.

I started Sparkpeople to lose weight and to start a healthier lifestyle. I've been through heavy binging and extreme restricting, and now I just want to make the right choices for my body while still enjoying the occasional cookie. Ha.

I'm a constant snacker which is supposedly a good thing, but I snack on all the wrong things. My weakness is chocolate. Give me chocolate and I'll be your best friend forever.

If you're in need of a diet buddy, I'm your gal. I plan to be very dedicated to this program, so you'll get a lot of support from me as well.

The best diet advice I've even gotten was to accept yourself as you are at the moment, and not at your goal weight. I know there is room for improvement, and I have weight I would like to shed; but I am learning to accept myself as I am at the current moment.

My Program:
I'm following the clean eating principles by Tosca Reno's book 'The Eat Clean Diet':
-5 small meals a day
-protein at each meal
-8+ cups of water everyday
-2 cups tea a day/one of them green tea
-eat mindfully, chew slowly

Personal Information:
I'm from San Diego. I love meeting new people, baking, going to the beach, good conversation, and being silly.

I did Body Revolution and really liked it. So to me it was worth it. I always wonder about the extra equipment, like the sandbag too! I am sure you will still get a great workout if you use your body weight, or weights.
I love the Clean Eating magazine! I am also back to following the principles. Everything else is much too restrictive, and therefore not good long term. This is a lifestyle I rarely deviate from :), clean eating all the way!

Hey! How have you been!? I gained back up to my lower 130s! But, I started an amazing workout plan to help me lose these last 15-17 pounds! I would be happy with reaching my lower 120s before summer. I'm eating a lot healthier than before and I am determined to get back on track.

What have you been doing?

Hello , lady! Glad you're back.
I am currently doing a 21 day challenge . I am not eating grains, at all. So it's lots of veggies, meat, fish, some dairy, nuts, and seeds. I am still having some wine and beer, but straying away from chocolate.
I finished Body Revolution, now I do a yoga/dance workout called Buti , twice a week. Look it up inline, it's an online class, real fun! I make sure I lift some weights twice a week. And I started taking a kick butt class in town, it's hardcore !
So I am working out hard 5-6 days a week.
You can do it!
