Hello, my name is Krista! I'm a twenty-something (26) with a lot of somethings on her waist, thights, and bottom. I started this program in hopes that it would help me fit into my size 4 and 6 jeans. But now I'm using it as a tool to help me live healthier, not just for the moment, but for life.

I started Sparkpeople to lose weight and to start a healthier lifestyle. I've been through heavy binging and extreme restricting, and now I just want to make the right choices for my body while still enjoying the occasional cookie. Ha.

I'm a constant snacker which is supposedly a good thing, but I snack on all the wrong things. My weakness is chocolate. Give me chocolate and I'll be your best friend forever.

If you're in need of a diet buddy, I'm your gal. I plan to be very dedicated to this program, so you'll get a lot of support from me as well.

The best diet advice I've even gotten was to accept yourself as you are at the moment, and not at your goal weight. I know there is room for improvement, and I have weight I would like to shed; but I am learning to accept myself as I am at the current moment.

My Program:
I'm following the clean eating principles by Tosca Reno's book 'The Eat Clean Diet':
-5 small meals a day
-protein at each meal
-8+ cups of water everyday
-2 cups tea a day/one of them green tea
-eat mindfully, chew slowly

Personal Information:
I'm from San Diego. I love meeting new people, baking, going to the beach, good conversation, and being silly.

Hey! How are you? How was your summer? Sorry about not responding until now. I had a CRAZY summer. TOO many things have happened! I had a family member who had health problems so I have been away to take care of them... They are doing well now. I'm so thankful for that. I also managed to have lost some more weight, which I have been back on track lately. I'm about to start my workout program again. Not sure which one as of right now. I'm thinking Jillian Micheals No More Trouble Zones DVD (3x times a week) and doing cardio about 5-6 times a week. How are you doing? What is your workout plan?

Hey! How are you doing? I have been extremely busy lately. I have more responsibilities at work so I don't have much time to write back quickly. I have been wakening up early to workout before work and try to find time to relax and read a book. As for my weight loss, I gained a few pounds, but I'm back on track... My birthday is in 4 months so I would love to lose at least 10 pounds by then. I have lost 3 pounds so far.

How is your weight loss going? Have you been working out?

Of course you can call me Maja. :) I don't mind at all. I'm sorry for the late response. I have been working long hours and started an intense workout plan so I have been active when I'm off of work. I started the Insanity Workout Plan and I love it!! I'm on day 19 and I have lost 3 pounds.... I'm hoping to lose more weight next week. I had a minor set back because I went out/ drank wine last weekend. But, I'm back on track. :) I would love to lose at least 5-7 more pounds by summer. :)

How are you doing? What have you been doing? Are you still doing your Julian Workouts?
