Looking Forward to Making Changes in My LIfe

I always feel I am on the cusp of achieving what I want in life but never actually accomplish my goals completely. Years and years go by being complacent and I truly want to change. I have heard so many good things about SparkPeople and I know it will be difficult but I am very optimistic that this community can help me.

My Goals:
My weight loss goal is to lose 35 pounds. That number is overwhelming to me, but other people have done it, I can right? In the process I want to improve my discipline and self confidence.

Personal Information:
I am in my late thirties and live in CT with my wonderful husband. We love to go to Maine in the summer and fall. I also like to admire nature while sitting by a roaring fire with a glass of wine ;).

Other Information:
I love shopping, cooking, entertaining and watching tv with my hubs. When I can, I treat myself with a trip to the spa. Next year my whole family is going on a trip to Disney World!

Hi Krissy! Thanks for replying to my post - looking for supportive buddies. I tried to message you but I don't see that option on your page. Anyway, what are your goals. Short term and long term? I would like to lose ~20 lbs. For today, the plan is to get as much walking as possible in.
