Its time for me to lead a healthy life style now

I am a 34 year old mother of 4 after years of putting myself last I am now trying to take controle of my health. I am a 34 year old mother of 4 after years of putting myself last I am now trying to take controle of my health. I have spent years putting weight on and dealing with my thyroid problems being tired and no energy 3 of my children are teens now and now its time for me. I have spent to much time watching life go by instead of enjoying mine I see so many people doing what I want to and cant its not that I had been jealous of them others I am seeing I am missing out on my life and I know that I can do this its going very slow but learning each day that goes by what to do and not to do. I had such high expectations of myself when I was young I was 125 and going to join the army ..my now ex husband talked me out of it so that he could join well from there I got depressed and put on some weight he always reminded me of that and of course then made me more depressed when we devorced he was telling me I was to heavy I was no more then160 and married my current husband and found I had a thyroid problem and within 6 months I had put on 60lbs and instead of taking care of myself I was wreckless and didnt watch what I ate or did anything for exersize except my fishing and things I really enjoyd doing. now I am to old to join the army but I can put myself first and be the persona I should have been all along and enjoy the rest of my life.

My Program:
instead of getting a ton of candy and crap in the house for valentines day for my family I bought a YMCA membership. because whats healty for me is also healty for my family. so I now go to the Y and use the machines I am going at least 4 days a week for about an hour but want to increase it to twice a day for 5 days a week.

The next challenge begins on November 2nd, and only runs for four weeks. The shorter challenge will help to keep everyone focused, and also help get us through the Thanksgiving holiday (for those of us in the states).

I need to turn in my list by Saturday at noon. So, if you plan on joining us for some great fun, please let me know by tomorrow (Friday) night. We hope to see you there!!
