None of us are perfect, and our bodies are not made for us to be perfect. Even on Biggest Loser they eat 1 high calorie meal a week to stop their bodies from coming head on with a plateau. With that said, I do encourage you to have 2 full weeks of sticking to the diet in the beginning. It is in these first 2 weeks that you start to set your habits, get your body used to eating less, even see larger results that will help motivate to go on. Whatever it is that motivates you, find it and use it! Think about being around to see all your kids' dreams come true when you go to eat something bad. Or, heck, even the bathing suit you want to fit into. Whatever it is, try and leave some reminders around the house...some visual cues to remind you of why you are doing this. Also, get rid of the crappy food in your house! I cannot suggest this enough. I know, kids want their stuff, but kids adjust after a little complaining. I have seen it time and time again. I got rid of everything bad in my house, and it has been a life style change saver!! One last thing...that darn food journal, everyone says to do it. Well, I finally caved and did one...and OMG, boy were my eyes opened. I though I was eating A LOT less calories than I was. Give it try and see what you find. Wishing you the best! 2964 days ago
