After learning that both of my parents now have Type II diabetes, I'm revisiting my SparkPeople page to get back on track. I need to lose about 20 more lbs to lower my BMI and feel better overall. Heart disease and diabetes run in both sides of my family so I know I need to take care of myself now so that I don't develop health problems in the future.

Yea I must say I've become obsessed with the scale which isn't good. . . .I weigh almost every morning but only record on Monday's which is crappy b/c if I could count this morning I didn't gain a half pound, I lost 2! LOL!

Ah well that will make my numbers better next monday right?
