    emoticon to SparkPeople. I am so happy you joined, emoticon the interaction, motivation and friendships that I have built here have been instrumental in my success. I have learned so much on this journey. Take it one day at a time and start out small. With a family it can be hard incorporating your new lifestyle but soon it will be a piece of cake. For instance I just made turkey burgers (we haven't had red meat in forever and no one seems to miss it) and baked french fries (hadn't fried anything in ages either). I weigh and measure all of my food and eat something every 2 to 3 hours. Make sure you keep your body fueled so you are less likely to run to "junk" or unhealthy foods. SPARKPEOPLE has a food tracker but I track my food at I only track my food and workouts there because it is a lot easier for me as just about every food in the world is in the database and tracking your food and workouts there gives you an estimated weight in 5 weeks based on your calories in and calories out. But as far as the "social" side SparkPeople is what I prefer, the people here are nice and super helpful. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Once again, emoticon .
