I learned about SparkPeople a year ago reading an article in People Magazine. Had never heard of it before then. Went to the website & felt like this would be the answer I was looking for. That was over a year ago. I kept getting emails that I would delete. I wasn't even looking at the blogs until today. I have done Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, excercised & dieted on my own. Lost & gained. Just went to my brothers wedding & saw pictures of myself. I am sick & tired of being frightened ...

At this point, I feel like I am taking a step because I am putting it out there for people to see & read. Help me move from here......

My Goals:
NEW GOALS:
1.) log all food
2.) drink 10 glasses of water
3.) go to 9round 3x a week
4.) plan meals ahead of time
5.) stay strong - 40 is coming this year.

I am 36 years old & a middle school teacher. I have been happily married for 8 years & have 1 daughter, Jordan, who is 6. Looking to make a permanent change in my life. Not only losing the 50 pounds that I need to but changing my excercise habits. Want to run with people. I do better with the group mentality.

My Program:
Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Track all nutrition on SP.
Excercise 3X/week.
Be happy with my gradual changes.
Day by Day.....
