I'm a very enthusiastic, outgoing person, have an 22 year old son that I adore, hubby, dog, three cats and a very happy, contented life!

My weight hasn't been much of a problem until my mid-40's. I gained about50 lbs and have struggled just to stop gaining. I'm a pescatarian (fish is the only animal protein), don't like junk food and eat very healthy so hopefully the answer will come this time. I've recently heard about "The Plan" and will be working it this year!

My Goals:
My diet is actually very healthy and I watch what I eat 90% of the time. I need to stay motivated to exercise, but it's hard when no results show after 4-6 weeks, but my goal is to ignore that and keep plugging away anyway!

My Program:
I'm a pescatarian (no meat or chicken, but yes on fish), avoid wheat products, lots of veggies, tofu, soups and salads.

I started working out to a Zumba DVD last year and am toning but still waiting for some weight loss.

Personal Information:
I'm from central Connecticut, lived in Texas and California in the 80's while in the Air Force. Am married to an Army veteran and we're both very Patriotic American Democrats.

Actually I did get 'organic' chicken for the first part of the plan. Today I'm testing scallops for dinner - yummm! After the 20 days, hopefully I'll have enough options to go back to just fish and seafood (and eggs)!

Since you are doing The Plan are you still only eating fish for your animal protein since you have been a pescatarian? Just curious as it looks as though she says you need to rotate your meats and some of them you can only have once a week. If you stick to just fish I will be anxious to hear how you do! Good thing is there are so many varieties of fish out there!
