Thanks for dropping by at my blog. I read a lot about how carbohydrates is stored in your body as fat and that it especially accumulates around the waist. I am fairly slim but have a big belly and eat a lot of carbs. Moreover diabetes runs in my family - so I wanted to try out the low carb approach of living.. I think I was too radical. Today, with 100gr of carbs I feel already better. This is an experiment and I will be careful. Good luck on your journey! And you are right we can start a fresh every day here!
I just saw your post in reply to family sabotage after lost weight:
Wow, I can't wait til I have to deal with this problem:) I think I will start practicing different responses now. Snippy, "Oh you are so right. Thanks for straitening me out, I didn't notice that I had gotten too thin." Caring "I know you mean well voicing your concern but you will just have to trust me that I know what is best for me." Short "I don't think I asked you for your assessment." Higher authority "my doctor wants me to lose more weight." Funny/gross "You may be right, it might be time to kill off the tape worm".
SOOOOO hilarious! cant wait to be able to use those!! :-)
