Strive for Progress, Not Perfection

Life has been full of changes, mostly good ones, yet here I am starting my weight loss journey over. My weight has gone up over the last year. I had healthy habits down, so I thought, but meeting my husband, getting engaged, and now married, it's been a challenge for us to share in our healthy habits since they differ. We're finally settling in to a better balance on what works for us together, so I'm here again to start over!

By Fall 2015, our vacation to Florida, I plan to:

By Fall 2015, our vacation to Florida, I plan to:
Lose 40-45 lbs
Run weekly, and complete a half marathon
Do Yoga every week
Sculpt a really hot butt! I will not become my mother!
Eat more fruits and veggies
Be happy and confident in shorts and even a bikini!

My Goals:
Make it to my goal weight/size and stay there!

Learn to love running in the cold this Fall/Winter.. with the dog even!

Climb more 14ers in the Summers.

Look good in skinny jeans and leggings!

Be able to pull-up my full body weight.

Learn to be happy with myself in ALL aspects of life.

I lost track of my progress when I met my husband, as did he. We're working together to get our health back on track!! ♥

My Program:
I plan to work out as often as I can, make smart food choices, and above all - DRINK LOTS OF WATER!

Missing yoga and vowing to do it weekly to get back into practice.

I shall spend 10-15 minutes daily doing something I enjoy just for myself.

Personal Information:
I hang around the Denver Metro/Arvada area here in CO. If you've never been to Boulder or Denver I highly suggest it. There's so much to do here, especially outdoors!

I absolutely love making new friends and trying new things, so please feel free to contact me, and let's get together! A hike at the Flatirons maybe? Or a drink in Downtown Denver? :D

Other Information:
Running is something I'm learning to love, something I want to improve at, and do regularly year round!
