Oh yes... we get 'several tornado touchdowns' per year in this area... some have knocked down several city blocks... Malls and arenas. Cold northern air meets hot 90f. air coming up the Ohio Valley from Texas.... equals tornados. It was about 65f. to 70f. all last week, then whamo... up to 95f yesterday and today. Yes, we were lucky... thankfully, most don't do much damage. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I thought my blog was long, but at least it wasn't 686 pages to slog through! lol That's a lot of reading, even if it happened to be large print or double spaced. That's a lot of words!!!

Oh well, I didn't get any reading done today as I had hoped, but I did listen to my body and didn't do anymore vacuuming or shampooing either, and I won't do any tomorrow! If I feel better tomorrow I want to sew after I take Milo emoticon to get a bath and much needed summer haircut. I'll wait and see how I feel, but like Calamitie I miss not getting to the sewing store.

Maybe I'll read a few minutes tonight before lights out! emoticon

Thank you for reading my blog and responding. I hope she does well at the farm. We love animals and this was a difficult decision. Your thoughts are valuable to me. Thanks again.

Thanks for the encouragement on my "His and hers pizza" blog. Yes, you're right. Sometimes the best discoveries come from compromise.

thanks for your comment on my blog; I think my granddaughter will, because we talked about it how we keep each other safe... by not screeching in the back seat and make Oma more frantic, by turning off the music so we can concentrate on driving and by pulling over and waiting it out... She is a smart one for her age and I adore every minute I spent with her.
