My Goals:
Develop lifestyle habit of regular weekly cardio exercise

Integrate healthier (not perfect) nutritional habits

My Program:
Current exercise target is 180 cardio minutes/week, changing up treadmill speed and elevation to keep it challenging.

Current nutritional target is to use Nutrition Tracker consistently and stay within target calorie range over the course of each week.

Personal Information:
I'm one of the 10-15 thousand people lucky enough to live in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I have a terrific husband; together we've launched 3 kids into adulthood and still have (most of) our sanity. Now the two of us ride herd on an exuberant chocolate Lab.

Other Information:
Thought for Today: The world is full of people who will go their whole lives and not actually Live one day. She did not intend on being one of them.

Sorry, clumsy iPhone . I mean to say there is no need for a complex system when common sense and a simple pedometer works. I would feel as though I were hooked up to a hospital monitor... One of these watches can cost 249 Usd ...hmmm.

Exactly what My point is and the very reason I refuse to spend money on an electronic monitor that I must plug into the laptop. The current knowledge is on the one hour per day and way more than the 1/2 hr 3x a week bare minimum for beginners.

Thank you for commenting on my blog "Sick of injuries and acceptance." That is exactly my problem. I was talking to my aunt yesterday and she never formally exercised so she's going to begin and she was saying how she's going to start out with getting her body used to exercise. With that in mind, I went on a slow walk during my lunch break and didn't make it too long. Like a little stroll and that felt good. I think I'm going to just get my body used to exercise to begin with like you said, just small bits of exercise throughout the day and take it from there. Thank you for the support and sharing how you ramped up. That seems doable!
