Hi, my name is Amy and I joined sp in may 07 and stayed with it for a couple months and then got side tracked and lost motavation. I did lose 27 lbs in about 2 months which was great, however not enough to keep me going.

I am back trying again to lose and try to stick with it. I am considering the lap band surgery if attempt unsucessful and I would like to attempt to learn portion control, will power, eating right and healthy. Learning to manage busy family and pets and keeping ...

Trying to drink 10 glasses of water a day.

Welcome to SP, Amy. You have definitely come to the right place to find the motivation you need to lose the weight. Get involved in some teams, find some friends and you will be surprised how easy it can be. You might want to set yourself some mini-goals so it doesn't seem so overwhelming. Some people set goals of a 10% loss, or specific weight goals, or whatever else might inspire them. It really helps to keep you going. Good luck. Come visit my page and keep in touch.
