The No S Diet is a common sense, uncomplicated way of living and eating that you can do every day for the rest of your life; true lifestyle change (not really a diet). It is great grandma's way of eating. And permanent freedom from dieting, weighing, measuring, counting, tracking, and obsession.
There are 3 rules and 1 exception to the No S Diet: no Sweets, no Snacks, no Seconds; except, only Sometimes, on S days (S days are Special days, Saturdays, and Sundays). We do not binge on weekends; we still re-learn and we still practice moderation on S days, the key word being "Sometimes"; we only allow exceptions to the three S'es Sometimes, not all the time, on S days.
We practice baby steps instead of perfectionism, to get there. It is amazing to re-learn moderation, to remember that hey!, moderation actually feels good!!, and to get off the diet roller coaster. For me, the No S Diet stopped emotional binge eating and overeating in general due to it's built-in portion control and calorie control. It also killed my sugar addiction, and it did something totally unexpected that I thought I'd have to battle the rest of my life: it ended food obsession. What an unexpected gift that was!

I do two classes on Monday (Zumba and Zumba toning) and one class on Saturday. I used to also do a Wed. class but my favorite instructor stopped teaching it and new lady is just horrible! Don't get me started. I'll will go tonight since that lady has a sub that I know and like.
There's a Thursday class that I can sometimes get to if I leave work early. The rest of the time I make do with swimming and doing Wii Just Dance which is so much fun!
