Losing....

My name is Kristen. When I married my husband, I was 100 pounds. Then, I quit smoking...resulting in a gain of about 20 pounds. Then, I learned to cook...add another 10 pounds.

I had my first daughter in 2008. I weighed 158 pounds when she was born, and quickly lost the majority of the weight. I started working out and got down to about 120. I had my first daughter in 2008. I weighed 158 pounds when she was born, and quickly lost the majority of the weight. I started working out and got down to about 120. Then, I got pregnant with my second daughter. I was about 155 pounds when she was born in Oct. 2010. I had a difficult pregnancy and didn't work out, so getting back into the routine was very difficult. I was stuck at about 143 pounds, but I ended up gaining it back.

Plus, I tend to carry all of my pregnancy in my belly. I'm short, so the girls had no where to go but out. So, not only do I battle the fat storage, I have to deal with the excess skin...and there's not really anything I can do about that. To top it off, I have polycystic ovaries, which means that I'm more likely to store my fat in my abdomen--and I do. Not in my legs. Not in my thighs. My stomach. Great...lucky me.

So now, I'm at 153 and desperate to get my body back. Watching what I eat and working out. Hopefully I can succeed where I have failed before. I am pretty determined. Damnit, I will wear a bathing suit without shame again!

Thanks! We actually chose for him to go to Korea. He was leaving all the time anyway. We figured we should get something out of it. So, he went to Korea so we could move somewhere different. Plus, I get to live near my family, something that I haven't done since I've had kids and something I probably won't be able to do again. So...

Just wanted to encourage you to stay on track and use the SP to the greatest extent possible. I have been a military wife and am now in the AF myself, so I LOVE the free gym too!!
