I am at a new high weight which means I have hit bottom. I have tried several other diets including weight watchers and have lost but gained it back, plus those lost pounds seem to find a few more friends to bring along on the return trip. I have very bad knees and I know that this extra weight is not good for my knees and my overall health. I am not setting any long term goals at this time, just one day and one pound at a time. I didn't gain this weight overnight and I don't expect to loose it ...

My Goals:
Loose some weight and to get moving

My Program:
Track my food intake, use my gazelle and tread mill. Walk outside when the sidewalks are clear plus other exercise that does not involve bending my knees. To many surgeries and really restricted.

Other Information:
Love to knit, mainly for charity. Also read a lot. Retired after working for the State of WI. for 38 years

Thanks for the comment on my blog! Isn't it amazing how achy knees can ruin the best intentions when it comes to exercise? I've been taking advantage of the fact that my knees have been cooperating the last week or so, with lots of stretching in between my walks.

I'm hoping for a surprise the next time I DO step on the scale again, but I'm not counting my chickens just yet...
