I'm back, and ready to find myself again -- including my waistline! Hi! I'm Julie, and I'm a health educator who needs to listen to what she tells her students, and act on the very things she teaches them. My specialty area is health behavior theory, so.....I'm focusing this summer on really putting into action what I've learned in the past few years from various other preparatory steps at losing weight. One big obstacle for me is the fact that I spend 5 hours a day in a car during the school year. So....in addition to losing whatever weight I can this summer, I'm also focusing on creating a lifestyle regimen that is both healthy and compatible with my time constraints and imposed inactivity.

My Goals:
Well..... Let's start with the short term goal. Let's lose 5% of the weight I need to lose. 5% = 3 lbs --- 10% = 6 lbs -- 15% = 9 lbs -- 20% = 12 lbs -- 25% = 15 lbs 30% = 18 lbs 35% = 21 lbs 40% = 24 lbs 45% = 27 lbs 50% = 30 lbs 55% = 33 lbs 60% = 36 lbs 65% = 39 lbs 70% = 42 lbs 75% = 45 lbs 80% = 48 lbs 85% = 51 lbs 90% = 54 lbs 95% = 57 lbs 100% = 60 lbs
My Program:
1. Stay with in caloric limits. 2. 210-250 minutes of physical activity/exercise each week. 3. Spend less time just sitting, and more time doing ANYTHING!
Personal Information:
I'm a health educator, so I have an added incentive to get my act together.
