Healthy Living

It's time. Period.
I've tried to lose so many times - still am trying.
Arthritis hurts when you're overweight. Being out
of shape makes it hard to play with my favorite
grandbaby! I want to look HOT for my husband!!
And I just found out that my "numbers" for cholesterol and diabetes are climbing. Getting old sucks, doesn't it? And one thing I've come to understand is this: I MUST TAKE CARE OF MYSELF FIRST. (Women are so bad at that.)

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to get rid of my huge belly. I think weighing 170 lbs. would be my ideal weight.

Goal #1: Get a routine down so it's automatic (the exercise).


My Program:
Walk 4x per week.

Strength train 2x per week.

Drink 2 bottles of water per day.

Once you receive your book you can:
- Go to our "Book Bonus Site" at www.sparkpeople.com/thespark
- Login with your SparkPeople username and password (or if you are not a member click the link to create a new account)
- Go to the "Join Us Online" page of Appendix G (page 221 in US edition) of your book to find the special access code for bonus materials, and enter the code.

You will then receive your SparkPoints and receive access to our Book Bonus Site. The Bonus Site has extra videos, tools, and much more.

When did you buy the book? What version did you buy? (paperback, hardback, e-book)

The reason I ask is some members received the 500 point credit but it does not show up in their SparkDetails page.

Barb,

Thanks for checking in with me. I am sorry to hear you're struggling so much. Any thoughts as to why?

I have been doing very well with exercise, not as much with calorie counting. I haven't been as active on SparkPeople because my husband and I have been using the Lose It app for tracking food and exercise. I find it a little more motivating and I hate tracking in two places so I've been only visiting SP once in awhile. I'm trying to figure out a way to combine both without it being too much work, KWIM?
