KNEWMETODAY

As a retired school teacher, I really do know how important it is to set goals, goals that can be achieved! My battle with weight has been life-long, with a couple of temporary reprieves. The fact is that the underlying emotional issues need resolution. I'm tired of paying someone so I can lose weight. I'm tired of fighting; I want the war over!

Happy Friday! Control is a tough issue for a lot of us. We can control some of what we do, but we can’t control everything! Keep pushing towards your goals. Even if you do not reach all of them, don’t give up! You can alter your goals or make new ones! Do your best to keep a positive and/or realistic attitude. You are AMAZING and WONDERFUL!

“You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you.” – Brian Tracy

HI Kathy! Thanks for coming by my blog!

I did Zumba with the doctor's permission right up to the surgery. I also did leg raises, leg lifts, ballet type exercises, yoga, tai chi, and also some upper body. I found some good exercises from doing the Spark people search just today. I typed in "exercises to do while recovering from knee surgery".

Keep in touch and we can commiserate over out knees. It was lateral meniscus surgery, anterior and posterior. I figure that it was inevitable as I was really active since high school.
