Young grad student ready to be her best!

I am a student in a really tough grad program- lots of hours, lots of stress, and little time for a healthy lifestyle. But I have been overweight since puberty kicked in, and I am ready to get healthy and become the woman I was born to be. I need to lose 20lb to get in a healthy weight range, and I want to lose 40lb in the end to be the weight I want to be.

Let's see if I can get my stress eating under control, and find the time to exercise!

My Goals:
-Run 9 miles
-Run 6 miles at 9min pace
-lose 20 lbs
-lose a pant size
-buy more M sized shirts!

My Program:
-eat within my calorie range (tough. I'm working on this one)
-workout 6 days a week. I try to run at least 4 and then 2 days of walking or elliptical


Personal Information:
I am living in Houston, Tx. I am working to become a medical professional, and school doesn't leave a lot of free time, but running has become my escape! Can you believe I used to hate it?

Other Information:
Someday I want to do a triathlon.... and/or wear a bikini.... :)

You get two hugs! I get confused on the site sometimes.:) I am 51 and would have loved someone to have told me to not focus on the fat body,but the strong legs to get me up hills,or clear eyes to read,smooth lips to smile readily with..........embrace your feminine,bright,glorious,young self.:)
