I have been fighting my weight all my life or at least it seems that way. I in my 40s and sometimes get tired of the battle. I am coming to the conclusion that I have been going about this all-wrong. I have been viewing this as a battle and not winning. I am changing my goals. I want to be healthy. I want to see my children age 9 and 12 grow up. I want to grow old with my husband. I want to be able to take my kids and do some fun things that require physical activity. I ...

I have been fighting my weight all my life or at least it seems that way. I in my 40s and sometimes get tired of the battle. I am coming to the conclusion that I have been going about this all-wrong. I have been viewing this as a battle and not winning. I am changing my goals. I want to be healthy. I want to see my children age 9 and 12 grow up. I want to grow old with my husband. I want to be able to take my kids and do some fun things that require physical activity. I don't want them to be embarased by my size. I am also hoping that if I will lose some weight maybe I won't be in daily pain.
To accomplish this I have to get healthy -- eat right and exercise.

My Goals:
My goal is to become healthier so I can see my kids grow up and help them avoid what I have gone through most of my life. I am also hoping that while I may not ever be model thin I can be a normal size.

My Program:
Nothing has seemed to work. I had a Gastric Sleeve Bypass back in 2008 it worked at first but then after the first year I started gaining weight again and am almost back to where I started. I will alter my plan as I progress but right now I just want to stay in my calorie range. Eventually I plan on adding Yoga and aerobic excersize. (Actually, I am just waiting for school to get out so I have time to make it a habit)

Thank you for visiting my page. Yes this can be done. First off take the word diet out of it. It is not a diet, it is a journey. It is what you make it. Sometimes we all fumble, yes even I do. Its how quickly you realize it and get back up. The most important thing is never giving up on yourself. We are all here to support each other. All you have to do is holler when you need help.
