Healthy Foundation for a Healthy Life

After a whirlwind over the past few years (finishing Graduate School, getting married, moving and beginning my dream job), life has calmed down. I am very happy with where I am personally and professionally, but I know that I need to focus on my health. I am hoping to build healthy habits that will last a lifetime, and lose weight I gained in college in a healthy way. Then I would like to change my lifestyle so that I am not constantly struggling with and thinking about weight for the rest ...

My Goals:
GOALS:

Keeping it simple right now:

eat breakfast every day

drink 8+ glasses of water

track food

log onto SP once a week

work out 3-4 times a week for at least 20 min.

My Program:
I am tracking my calories through sparkpeople and working hard to stay within recommended ranges for carbs, protein and fat.

My exercise program involves:
-Walk Away The Pounds in-home walking program at least 3 days a week

- Yoga at least 2 days a week (plus class)

-Strength training 3 days a week.

-I just started Jillian Michael's 30-day shred...and I am being shredded!

-Additional cardio activities to keep things varied: pilates, kickboxing, step aerobics, stationary bike.

Most importantly, I am supported by good friends and by my loving, supportive family and husband.

Personal Information:
I am proud to hail from Brew City.
