Hi, I am Karen a forty-something mom with 8 great kids from 2 to 19. My weight has has gone up and down like a yoyo the past twenty years. I have gone from size from 6 to 14 so many times. I know how much better I feel when I am eating healthy and taking care of myself. Hoping to get motivated, get back on track and lose some weight!

My Goals:
To get back into those clothes hanging in my closet. Planning to:

Lose 10 pounds by the end of March.

Lose 15 pounds by the end of April.

Lose 20 pounds by the end of May.

That is 1-2 pounds a week that I need to lose.





My Program:
Plan my meals and snacks.

Keep track of everything I eat and try to stay around 1200 calories.

Drink 8 glasses of water a day.

No eating after 6 pm.

Walk 4 times a week.

Begin to exercise.

Hi, I saw your message on the Catholic Mom's team page and I just wanted to stop in and say hi. I am also a mom of 8, I have 3 boys and 5 girls. I love it! In our parish we have quite a number of families with lots of kids, the dads have taken the kids camping in the summer and it is so fun, the older kids help out but there are NO MOMS. The one picture I remember so clearly is from quite a few years ago there were 9 dads and 38 kids!

I see you are doing well, you have lost 10 lbs or more, congratulations!
