Striving for a Goal

I am a 32 year old mother of 2 kids. I want to set a better example for my kids so I am going on a quest to drop this extra weight I have gained. I have started to have some medical problems because of my weight gain. IT HAS TO END KNOW!!

My Goals:
My goal is to drop 15 more pounds by the end of the year. I have learned to deal with my stress for the most part but my downfall is still RUM!!! I have held true to my new year goal of cutting back and not smoking so much, but I feel I still have a ways to go. I think that with my husband not working it is harder on me because he drinks too. So when I have a drinking buddy it is harder to say no, but I have been good about it lately and he does not push me when I say no. That is a BIG help to me.

My Program:
I am watching what i eat and I have joined the YMCA. I go ever Monday and Wednesday and I am trying to get there at least one more day a week. I walk on the treadmill for 35 mins then I do to the bike for 22 to 25 mins, and if I am still going strong I will do the stair stepper for about 10 to 15 mins. (that is about all I can take of it.) My average is 400 calories a workout.

Personal Information:
My personal goals have changed some much on my journey to a better me. I have cut drink my RUM out almost completely and I am still working out as much as possible. It is amazing to me how strong willed I really am.

Other Information:
Still dealing with issues of my dads passing is hard some days, those are the days I find RUM helps me. Dealing with my husband being jobless is also an issue but it's not like he is not trying there is just nothing out there. I love my kids so much and I am so blessed to have them but they do not listen to me much so I have to yell at them to get them to do things. I was not raised that way but I have tried everything else to get them to listen and it has not been successfull yet
