Live Change

I just turned 36 years old and I am afraid i won't make it to 40 unless I make a change. I want to be healthy and have energy for my son and I want a spark back in my marriage! My son has Asperger's Syndrome and I have always focused on him and giving him what he needs. I realized that if I don't focus on myself as well I will not be around to help him.

My Goals:
I WILL lose 135 pounds!
I WILL be healthy!
I WILL feel good about myself!

My Program:
I am following a low calorie diet between 1200-1500 calories per day and limiting my carb intake to 11-12 servings per day (1 serving =15 grams) I m starting my exercise plan with at least 15 minutes a day, I would like 30-60 minutes on my days off.

Other Information:
I lost my grandmother last year to Ovarian Cancer...she was my hero and my best friend. I miss her every day. She always believed in me and motivated me. She struggled with weight and diabetes and was able to regulate it with diet and exercise. She worked hard and took care of herself. Ovarian Cancer runs in our family and her healthy lifestyle did not protect her, but she lived a lot longer than she would have. She is still with me and I feel her strength and encouragement!

emoticon Don't quit. That is all that matters. Stay with this. 95% of people quit. Don't be one of them.

Welcome to "Dealing with Asperger's" I hope we have some extra umph to cheer you are. We are a small group, but we have lots of cheer and understanding! I hope you find what you need in our group!

Feel free to join in, by introducing yourself, or your child (both different topics)... and then join us for a challenge, or a huddle, or a day to day chit chat...

My Inspirational Quote of the Day: “Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.” Mark Victor Hanson emoticon
