I need motivation PLEASE!!!!

Hi my name is Karen it has been a long time since I've been on this site. I live in Greenfield, MA.
Even though I have not been on this site, I have tried to do the right thing. I joined a gym then hired a trainer a year later. Lost weight, firmed up then trainer left the company. She was my motivation. It's been a losing battle ever since.
Back to hating myself and what I look like.

Hi Karen! Welcome back! Finding motivation is sometimes tricky, but.. you are not totally lacking or you wouldn't be here posting this to us! I am still not sure what re-inspired me to start up again a month ago. I had been LOOKING for that motivation for well over a year, had started up with SP again last summer and did not stick with it. This time, though, I know I have it. What happened the day before I got on here to make the commitment was that I saw an episode of "Extreme Makeover - The Weight Loss Edition" which you can find free on hulu.com to see them. I didn't want to get that obese (400+).. and I knew I was in danger of it. I wanted the success they were having from the hard work, but I knew that I needed to take it slow and build it as a lifestyle again. (I did lose 60 lbs from 300 to 240 back in 2006 before I got pregnant. I know I can do that again!)

I think seeing weight loss success stories is motivating and we have a great section on here to see these. Make some small changes and try the fast break stage to get into it. Start tracking your nutrition and there you go! Then after that, a little success of your own may motivate you to keep it up!

Wishing you joy and success on your journey to a healthier lifestyle!
