Hi, If I'm reading your question correctly, you are wondering why your daily calorie range is 300 cal between the low and high range? As I understand it, the calorie range is computed by factoring your current wt, your goal wt and your height, the range factors the number of calories we need to just exist...our basal metabolic rate, and also the maximum number of calories before we would gain weight....now it's not a pure science without having testing to find exctly what your real metabolic rate is but it's a good estimate. I have found that my calorie range has adjusted when I have consistently tracked exercise/calorie burn above where I started out but it wasn't immediate. Every so often I go back to re-calculate making sure I enter in how much I usually burn in a weeks time with current wt etc. As we lose wt, the numbers do need to be adjusted a bit. Now, it's really important to not eat too little or our bodies will actually fight our efforts by slowing our metabolism so don't make that mistake. Oh and part of the reason for a range is that we are living here...some days will be higher some lower...it's natural...it's really more about the journey than one meal, one day etc.
Sorry this was so long but hope I have said something worthwhile to you. Good luck!
