Girl On The Run

Ok, .... Let's try this again, for the last time!

My situation has completely changed. I'm now living in Houston and so far I like it. ;-) A lot has changed some good some bad, but more than anything I'm realizing I've got to get on top of this once and for all. Life is just too short!

Why not live the time I have left as the person I am inside.

Here's to life!

My Goals:
My main goal is to lose over 100 lbs.

I would also like to;

Become a runner and complete 3 races in 2010.

Take Salsa lessons, after I lose 50 lbs.

Learn to swim this year.



My Program:
My plan of attack includes;

Tracking my calorie intake.

Tracking my exercise, and calorie burn.

Begin walking 2 - 3 days per week, building up to 4 days per week for 2 weeks, then begin a beginner's running program.

Begin using The Firm Cardio Weight System, 3 days per week.

Personal Information:

Other Information:
Options to Avoid Anxious Eating;

- Pray.

- Log on to SP, and seek support.

- Go for a short walk.

- Clean out a drawer, closet, or box.

- Read a book.

- Listen to music and dance in my living room with the blinds closed.

Hey Girl! It was so nice to hear from you! I'm glad you're back. I've taken a few breaks myself along the way, but haven't given up. Things are finally clicking for me, slowwwwwly, but surely. I'll be sure to check in with you to see how you're doing. You can do this!!!

Thanks so much for the congrats on being "Done Girl". I've had guests in from out of town and have been so busy I didn't log on last week so I'm just reading all these amazing comments and words of encouragement. I kept up my running and strength training and in addition, I've added another sport to my list of exercises -- KAYAKING -- I loved it! We had the best time, burned more calories than you could imagine and had a blissful, fun time doing it.

Everyone stay motivated, dedicated, and committed -- together we will all reach our goals!

this is the programmes I am following, the second chart on the page with just jogging as I already was in the habit of walking lots.

First week my legs where sore, but after that I have been progressing nicely!
