I used to weigh 245 lbs at 13. Lost 40-50 lbs kept it off after two pregnancies but still wanna lose another 20 lbs and get back muscle tone lost from yo-yo dieting

My Goals:
lose 20 lbs
add muscle to lower body
lose back fat
run 1 mile without rest

My Program:
interval run/walk 1.5-2mi 5x a week

diet is mainly vegetables, fruit, chicken and fish
very few starchy carbs (whole oats or brown rice)
Protein shake after workout for morning meal replacement

Do watch the YOUTUBE series "THE SKINNY ON OBESITY" with Robert Lustig M.D. whose book "FAT CHANCE" comes out in December. It is so helpful.


I'm reading Richard Johnson M.D.'s book "THE SUGAR FIX" and have learned so much about Metabolic Syndrome/Insulin Resistance. He has a wonderful lecture on Youtube.
