~New Me~

So I have been a member of sparkpeople for quite a while!

In 2010, I weighed in at 210lbs. I was mortified the day I saw that number on the scale. I didn't think I would ever let myself weigh more than 200lbs. Slowly I have come away from that number.

Looking forward to rediscovering who I am/was. I would like to take the next year to really focus on me. Get back to a healthy weight, with a positive self image. And be strong!! In every way.

The biggest part of my journey is the evolution of me. What I mean by that is how I am handling all of my struggles. Unfortunately weight is not my biggest battle. I'm trying to find my path in life. I am tying up loose ends, and just trying to rebuild, after my world came crashing down the summer of 2012.

So my goals, well, I would like to get down to 135 lbs, that is my ultimate goal but it is significantly more complex than that. I want to do a complete lifestyle makeover, so I'm more concerned with my lifestyle than the weight(which ends up being a positive side effect). So in order to reach my goal, I have a "slow and steady, wins the race" mentality. I've done it many times before working out for a few weeks going perfectly and falling off the wagon. So I'm making small changes, and blogging about it to implement habits and not binges.

My house is actually haunted. There's a spirit in the main house but it's never been violent before. We believe it to be male, and he has grabbed and pulled my arm before. And he does like to throw things off of the counters once in a while. I'm not really saying that my experience the other day was paranormal... at least not yet. But I am being cautious about it. The door here is pretty securely shut, though I could have not shut it all the way. But again, I'm being cautious here.

"baby steps" are good... as long as you make those steps in the first place. D= Shame, that I "try" and give up so easily. Motivation is not my friend... but it would also help if I forced it lol.
