Start the New Year

Two years ago I gave up gluten and lost 50lbs. Six months ago I started weight training and two months ago I started doing yoga. All of these things have made my life significantly better. I am 59 years old but feel like I am 30. Lucky me!

My Goals:
My goal this year is to knock off my last 10 lbs and then maintain my weight. I am at 140 and want to get to 130 by summer 2013.

I also want to improve my Yoga practice and this may seem weird but learn to box.

My Program:
I live a Gluten free life style. I also do not eat very much meat. I eat 1000 calories a day.

To some this may not look healthy but I just do not lose weight if I eat more. I am under a doctor's care. I am probably one of the few people that can join WW and gain weight. My doctor says I have a very efficient metabolism and if there is ever a famine I will be the last person standing. I do eat lots of vegetables (greens) and not too much fruit (2 a day).

Personal Information:
I live in Camden County, NJ Monday - Thursday when I am teaching and then I drive to my second home in Lewes, De on Thursday evening and stay until Monday afternoon.

I work out a Philadelphia Sports Club in Voorhees, NJ and Quest Fitness in Rehobeth, NJ

I am an art professor

Love to read
Have 2 greyhounds and a standard poodle
Love the Beach
