2012 was a really hard year. 2013 is starting with it's challenges. Instead of buckling to my weaknesses when life seems too much, I am going to make a concerted effort to focus on the spirit of life and light within me and in this world. There is a lot of darkness...but light is right there too. Instead of feeding the negativity, I'm going to strengthen the spirit in me that IS good, WANTS good, and wants to DO good. Instead of buckling to my weaknesses when life seems too much, I am going to make a concerted effort to focus on the spirit of life and light within me and in this world. There is a lot of darkness...but light is right there too. Instead of feeding the negativity, I'm going to strengthen the spirit in me that IS good, WANTS good, and wants to DO good. This is always a battle...it's a battle I've given up in too often. Today I will choose to do good, and if I fall, I won't let the negativity beat me up anymore. It's time for it to NOT be the stronger influence...it needs to lose its grip and I'm asking for help from above, within, and around to give me the power I need. I can't do it alone. First step taken.
