Battle of the Bulge, take 2!

I have always been a big person, I know that's a fact. There was no long-gone high school days where I fit into a size 4, I was lucky to squeeze into a size 14 in high school. And after I graduated, I went directly into college, then I got married and you know the rest. I let my weight get out of control, and now 170 lbs later, its time to make the scale go down. My self-esteem is lowered, it's a wonder at all that my new husband finds me attractive. I need to lose this weight, for my mental ...

My Goals:
To lose all of the weight to my goal weight, and to wear a size 8. I also would like to fit into a pair of juniors jeans sometime before I'm too old to wear them.

My Program:
I am currently trying something new. I've made a mini-contract, where I pledge to eat right and exercise everyday for 30 days, and make mini goals to where I want to be at the end of the 30. We will see how this goes, and I'll be journaling my progess/setbacks, so check back soon!

Personal Information:
I am 21 years old, I am married as of 6/3/2006. I receive a LOT of support from my loving husband to do this, and I''m gonna do it!

Hi Kelly, saw you on the New Sparks community team member board and wanted to drop by and congratulate you on your initial weight loss. The first 10 to 15 lbs. is the hardest to get off but not impossible. I'm proof of that. It's nice to see the younger people on the boards. I wish you all the best of luck in your goals. Happy Holidays.
Cindy
