Thanks! Good for you for using your local farmer. I had organic milk the other day for the first time and it was like liquid gold. I thought I was being mean by depriving her of treats once in a while. But, the truth is I'm a better parent for not giving in. I have her life in my hands. So sometimes you just have to say no. She can't tolerate even the small amounts. I recently started using coupons. If you find the right website (here in the south it's called southernsavers.com) but wherever you are they should have one that fits. But it will do all the work of coupon matching for you. Using it for toilet paper, shampoo, dog food, laundry det. etc, has saved money that can go towards the healthier foods. And I will be so happy when the farmers market comes to town and I can have my own little garden too!
Hello :) Thank you for commenting on my blog. If you need to rattle, let me know. Demons from childhood are ridiculously hard to shake, and I know its hard. Just worry about you, because nobody can love you like you can, nobody can make you happy like you can and nobody deserves for you to be happy like you do!
Hi, I saw your comment on my freinds page regarding vegetarism. I felt like I was reading my own. I go on and off again veg, but, I have cut out most meat, especially processed. It is about health for me too, I do eat the lean meat occassionally, and can go about a month without any. (I have to have eggs, cheese, and fish though.) It really sounds like you and what you wrote. My freind turned Vegan over a year ago and I have no clue how she does it. The prob with her is, I don't think she balances her veganism. I see her eating two veggie patties and tomatoes for breakfast and then anoth two patties with whole wheat bread for lucnh. Occassionally a baked potatoe. She doesn't seem to expand on the recipes and bounties out there now a days. HOwever, veganism is way too drastic for this german girl who grew up with butchers in the family. My dad was the only one of his brothers who wasn't a butcher. LOL. Nice meeting you hugs heidi
