Being fit and healthy - here's why I do it

In May 2009, I made a promise to my mOm that I would get in shape.

2 weeks later, she passed away from diabetes.

4 weeks later, I ran my first 5K in 41 minutes.

3 years and 20 pounds later, I'm keeping that promise.

I got a cold recently, now trying to get back on track slowly... I wish the miles updates were easier in the 5% challenge, such a hassle to calculate and enter the minutes each time...
