Learning to live my dreams

I have battled my weight since my early twenties after giving birth to my daughter. Now at 36 I want to stop the battle and instead learn to live fully with a healthy body, mind, and spirit. To live by example and never giving up. Find my center and inner strength to give my all to those I love.

My Goals:
My main goal in life is to love my family and friends with all my heart. I want to live fully and passionately with integrity.

I would like to go back to college, live an active life, and be a great mama.

Losing weight and getting healthier will enhance all of of my life dreams and goals making me a better person.

My Program:
Not really sure what my program is yet. I hope to do the South Beach program and see how it works out for me.

I exercise twice weekly at this time doing X-Fit, a body strengthening, circuit training, kick boxing, cardio, and yoga class for one hour on Mon and Wed.

I do a Yoga stretch class on Tues and Thurs for one hour. (which has improved my tense shoulders and muscle spasms tremendously)

I am trying to force myself to walk at least a mile per day but have not quite accomplished this goal.

I recently joined the YMCA which has numerous classes I would like to try including pilaties, Tai Chi, and Zumba.

I have been trying to track calories up until this point but it's been so slow going I would like a kick start which is why I am going to give the South Beach diet a try.

Personal Information:
My name is Heather and I am a full time stay at home mama. I have plenty of time to figure this stuff out if I stop procrastinating.

I love to garden, craft, decorate, read, and write. I have been told I have some talent for my passions.

Other Information:
I am involved with the most wonderful man I have ever known. The proud parent of a beautiful nearly 17 year old daughter and blessed to be a part of Johnny's two boys lives ages 10 and 7.

Our family life and time spent together is our priority.

We even exercise together.
