Wife and mother of 3, working full time and trying to dedicate some time for myself! I love to craft (scrapbook and quilt) and I love to read. The problem is all those things are quite sedentary...so here I am (again). Now in my 40's and needing to get healthier so I can enjoy my growing kids!

Become more positive.
Worry less about $$.
Continue my journey of weight loss & health improvement.
Get to size 12 jeans.
Drink more water.
Enjoy my family, play with my kids, keep up with my husband!


My Program:
Stay within my nutritional goals.
Exercise 4x per week .
Meditate a minimum of 5 min. a day (daily reflection)
Drink water, water and more water.

I'm back to spark people. I do well losing if I stick to the 1200-1500 calories. That way I don't feel so restricted in what I eat. I just know that if I chose to eat a muffin or drink a pop, I have to count those calories. I tried that low carb thing as well and it seemed fine for a couple days and then I was a mess! I felt horrible. Seriously, I fell off the wagon and ended up at the candy store gorging myself on sugar. My headache felt better however:) We can do this!!! Let's keep encouraging one another cuz it is tough. Sorry to hear about your hip...hope that is better.

Hey Kelly! Are you on spark people again? Brenda and I talked and I am gonna give it a shot again. I always say I'm gonna lose weight in the summer and then actually end up gaining! Hope that we can give each other some motivation!
