Hello I'm Jasmine and I'm an emotional eater ... Haha ... Turns out that is not so funny and I don't want to be that woman anymore, so I came to SparkPeople on the advice of my good friend Melissa. Hello I'm Jasmine and I'm an emotional eater ... Haha ... Turns out that is not so funny and I don't want to be that woman anymore, so I came to SparkPeople on the advice of my good friend Melissa. I have been on and off the site for the last 4 months. On August 1, 2011 I finally looked in the mirror and realized that if I didn't start doing something that 65 lbs would turn into 100 lbs or worse. I now run a blog at Stella415.blogspot.com called "The finish line is 65lbs. away" Is there really a finish line? No! This will a life-long thing for most of us, but it is catchy. I hope you will check out my blog if you are ever needing added encouragement. Over the next year or so I will be posting weekly (very therapeutic for me) and monthly I will be uploading photos and my measurements. Having support and the pressure of putting it all out there has been wonderful motivation so far!

My Goals:
1) Lose 65 lbs by August 1, 2012.
2) Educate myself on health and fitness.
3) Help encourage others with their weight loss and fitness goals.
4) Accept my flaws and my body
5) Mentally overcome stress, negativity, and any other road blocks

My Program:
For right now I am focusing on healthy eating and exercise. I am currently in the third week (8/23/11) of doing cardio 2-3 times per week and strength training 3 times per week. I plan to kick it up a notch after August and do 4-5 days of cadio. Otherwise, I am praying a lot, mostly for patients because I have very little when it comes to myself. And I am working on changing the way I think and feel about myself.

Other Information:
My Favorite color is RED, I'm an Aries, I like to succeed, I love to talk, I love to workout, I love many different types of food, I love traveling and I love writing, I love life!

in case you don't see this i will text you, i cant make it to the north club today at four because my husband has the car. im still planning on going to my club because i can walk to it. i'm kinda sad cuz i think bodypump probably will be a good class for me, i still dont know about the others lol. i can meet you here on weds. though and on thurs i work at six pm and on friday i only work til two so we can def go walking if the weather is nice.
