I've been a member of SparkPeople since June 2009 but havent really utilized it. Recently I've had a lot of injuries leaving me wondering if they were something that could have been avoided if I were at a healthy weight. What if I had followed the program back in June, where would I be now? At my goal weight or closer to it? Healthy and injury free?

I've finally reached the point where I cant take it anymore, I want to be healthy and feel better. I'm also excited about the other side effects such as looking good and being able to shop for cute clothes.

SparkPeople has shown me although I have a lot to loose (100 pounds) it is possible and lots of other people have been successful. I know it will be a long and tough road but I know this site will give me the motivation and boost I need if I let it.

My DONE statements:
I'm DONE being the fat girl
I'm DONE being the biggest girl in every group
I'm DONE being the fat friend
I'm DONE shopping in the plus sizes
I'm DONE hating all my clothes
I'm DONE only wearing baggy shirts & covering up
I'm DONE making excuses
I'm DONE blaming everyone else
I'm DONE feeling worthless becasue I'm fat
I'm DONE feeling sorry for myself
I'm DONE with using food to comfort me
I'm DONE saying I'll start tomorrow
I'm DONE feeling unhealthy & injured
I'm DONE always living in the future & past rather than the present

Weight Goals & Rewards:
* First 5 pounds lost = New song from iTunes
* No longer a member of the morbidly obese category (15 pounds lost) = 2 new songs or a music video from iTunes
* Loose 10% of my body weight (approx 25 lbs) = Yoga classes at my favorite studio
* Weigh in at 199! (45 pounds lost) = Mani & pedi at the spa
* 1/2 way to goal (50 pounds lost) = New bracelet
* No longer a member of the obese category (75 pounds lost) = Massage
* 100 pounds lost = Mani, pedi & massage at the spa
* No longer a member of the overweight category, GOAL (105 pounds lost) = New wardrobe!

Non Scale Victories:
* Sugar free for 1 day = Gossip magazine
* 3 day sugar free streak = TBD
* Eat at home 3 days in one week = TBD
* One week sugar free streak = TBD
* Eat at home 6 days in one week = TBD
* Eat at home for 26 days in one month = TBD
* One month sugar free = TBD
* Ride bike to Wooden Bridge = TBD
* Ride bike to Marymoore & back = TBD
* Walk/run 5k with Kimberly & Katie Summer 2011 = New workout outfit for the event!

My Goals:
My goal is to loose approximately 105 pounds. The motivation is not only to look better and feel more socially accepted but mostly to just feel better. I'm sick and tired of feeling sick and tired!

My Program:
I currently work out 2 times a month with a personal trainer. My new fitness goals are strength training 3 times per week and 3 hours of cardio per week.

Personal Information:
I live in the Seattle area and love it! No, it really doesnt rain here as much as they say! :)


Other Information:
I started my weight loss journey at 245 pounds and I'm only 5'4"! Yikes! How did I let this happen?! I'm excited to finally be doing something about it and my goal is 140 which is also in the healthy section of the BMI charts.
