I have three main goals for losing weight:

1.) Health
2.) A new baby
3.) Overall Happiness

I want to be healthier. Being this overweight is causing a lot of health problems. It is contributing to a sense of depression and anxiety, it is putting strain on all my organs in a negative way, it is keeping me from being able to get out and do things that I want to do.

Whether I decide to have another baby in a year or so or not, I can't be pregnant ...

I want to be healthier. Being this overweight is causing a lot of health problems. It is contributing to a sense of depression and anxiety, it is putting strain on all my organs in a negative way, it is keeping me from being able to get out and do things that I want to do.

Whether I decide to have another baby in a year or so or not, I can't be pregnant and be that obese. I did it one time and it was dangerous for me and for the baby...I want to have a healthy pregnancy, I want to have a healthy baby.

I have been fat my entire life. I do not want to be fat anymore. I am unhappy with my physical appearance, I am unhappy with how others perceive me. I want to look better. This is shallow, and even I know it is shallow, but it is the simple truth. I want to look better. I want to buy nicer clothes for much less. I want to be able to fit in more, instead of being the huge freak.

I am going to accomplish these goals. I am going to lose 5 lbs per month for the next 6 months, to go from 275 lbs to 245 lbs. After that, I will set a new goal; but, for now, baby steps. Baby steps to the scale, baby steps to the Wii Fit, baby steps pushing the stroller...baby steps. The weight will come off.
